HKICPA Reaccreditation of Associate of Business Administration programme

The Associate of Business Administration (ABA) programme offered by HKU SPACE Community College has successfully attained another 5-year reaccreditation by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) till 31 Oct 2027. Graduates of the ABA programme are qualified for exemption from the first 5 associate modules (M1-5) of HKICPA’s Qualification Programme (QP) if they have passed the relevant courses under the ABA programme. 

HKICPA is the only statutory licensing body of professional accountants in Hong Kong. It has developed its QP, the most preferred and predominant professional accountancy training programme in the region. Through a well-designed and monitored programme accreditation process, HKICPA recognizes education programmes that meet the standard and competency level of its qualification programme. 

The successful completion of the reaccreditation exercise signifies the quality of the ABA programme which meets the educational standard and requirements of professional accountancy programmes recognized by HKICPA.
